MY STORY
I create fine handmade ceramics for the home and table. Beautiful and functional porcelain made by hand in my Studio by the sea in Tasmania, Australia.
Each design is produced in small, limited-edition collections, giving each piece a unique handmade quality. In a world full of mass-produced ceramics, I create fine handmade porcelain pieces that are of highest quality, uniquely individual and reflect the mark of the maker.
My creative ethos involves taking a slow clay, hands-on approach to all aspects of my studio practice from design and mould making to casting, hand building, glazing, firing and decorating.
I pay attention to every detail to ensure the highest quality whilst including the beauty of imperfection and the charm of handmade artistry. My ceramic pieces are designed to be cherished and used for years to come.
Porcelain tableware and sculptural objects are the focus of my studio practice, that bring joy and elegance to your everyday life.
I have been practicing ceramics since 2001 and studied formally at both TAFE and University levels, completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in Ceramics and Sculpture at Southern Cross University.
Experimentation and technique development has allowed me to submerge my creativity in ceramics, honing my craft through many years of practice and research
